About Me
As long as I can remember, I have had a soft spot for dogs. One day in my corporate world environment I said, out loud to myself -“ I know what I want to do”. (I would have added “when I grow up” but I had already grown up, my daughter, too, had also grown up). “I want to work and play with dogs”. That was the first day of the rest of my life.

Puppy Training
Puppy training is generally a good start before Obedience Training. During the first 16 weeks of a pup's life, he is taking in everything around him. This is when they learn what their norm is. I will work with your puppy on impulse control, polite play, house-training, and crate training. By making exposing them early on to what is and isn't acceptable, they learn the early skills that will help them in Obedience Training.
Aggressive Behavior Modification
A number of dogs end up at shelters or get rehomed as a result of aggression issues. This doesn't fix the problem. Unfortunately, it could actually enforce it. I work with dogs in understanding what triggers their aggression and then from there, we can build a foundation that will allow the behavior modification process to be made possible. I am currently only accepting small dogs for this training program.
Obedience Training
Obedience training is important for all dogs, as all dogs need not only physical exercise but also mental stimulation. Most dogs learn best through positive reinforcement training, which is why I choose to use only positive reinforcement in my program. While with me they will learn basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and come. These commands are essential to building a foundation for a well-responsive pup.
Pet Boarding
Going away or out of town but can't take your little one with you? Pet boarding can be a tough decision but now it doesn't have to be. Here at Shari's your pup will feel right at home in my home. With a spacious fenced backyard to run around in, plenty of friends to socialize with, and a flowing water fountain to splash in they may never even realize you left.
